Anyways, another controversial news about Tiffany that made quite a stir on the Korean side of the internet happened on her show “Champagne”

The news is talking about the incident on “Champagne” where one of the MC’s took away Tiffany’s blanket, which she was using to cover her legs because she was wearing very short pants. So she got embarrassed. Then they go on to show her other incident of where she wore a really short skirt that showed her underwear (oh my!). So one of the MC’s on the show gave her the advice of wearing something appropriate if she doesn’t want to get embarrassed and went on to criticize stars that wear low-cut shirts that show their breasts, which they have to cover when they bow in greeting.
Tiffany in this new show called “Champagne” seems to be causing quite a stir!
Recently in the episode that aired on May 17th stopped actor Kim Ji Suk’s in the middle of his singing and corrected his English on air! Kim Ji Suk who is Tiffany’s senior and a respectful actor felt so insulted by Tiffany’s behavior all through the rest of the program.It turned out unlike Tiffany who doesn’t even have her High School diploma from an English speaking country has English teaching certificate and has lived in both US and England for years. Here is the news and the translation!
Actor Kim Ji Suk, who studied abroad in England, was criticized for his “incorrect” English pronunciation by American-native Tiffany.
During the KBS 2TV “Champagne” that aired May 17, MC Shin Bong Sun requested a personal serenade from actor Kim Ji Suk, who was a guest on the show. He sang for her a popular pop song “Can’t Take my Eyes Off You.”
But the instant he finished singing, SNSD Tiffany criticized his English pronunciation, saying, “Your pronunciation of the entire song is wrong.” Kim Ji Suk was taken aback and felt so embarrassed that he could not hold his head up for the rest of the show. Making the situation worse, Tiffany allowed herself to sing the song with the “correct” English pronunciation, not noticing that Kim Ji Suk’s face was getting redder.
In reality, Kim Ji Suk immigrated to England to study abroad during middle school. He returned to Korea after his 3rd year in high school to finish his education, eventually studying German at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He also received English and German teaching credentials. As an actor he gained a lot of popularity in the 2008 hit sitcom “I Hate You, But It’s FIne”, starring along side Han Ji Hye. He also received a lot of praise during the sitcom for his amazing English skills. This sitcom received over 40% ratings and is ranked as the #1 broadcasted drama of the year.
Netizens who saw this episode commented, “I agree that Kim Ji Suk’s English is not perfect, but Tiffany went overboard,” “Kim Ji Suk studied abroad in England and he is fluent in English; Tiffany was very inconsiderate and ignorant of her surrounding.” Tifanny’s obvious lack of discretion has caused uproar among netizens.

Not so many people caught the show on air as of now despite all the effort there seems no way to find the footage! Maybe SM is super worried about this .. since a little while ago a news of SNSD specially Tiffany’s insulted attacks to the legendary group Shinhwa members was released in the media!
We spent hours and hours researching on Tiffany’s mess with Shinhwa in English and Korean forum/sites and it was revealed that SM apparently forced to delay the news to be released in the media untill the Tiffany’s formal apology actually happened!
Here is the story in short .. apparently Tiffany has made fun of Jun jin’s dance in his new song “wa” on a radio show that aired May 14 and seems like LSM’s niece “sunny” was there as well and she gave a big laugh at the imitation Tiffany was doing!

Apparently Shinhwa fans who watched the show were so angry that left so many angry comments on the message boards that made the Shinhwa management company to demand a formal apology from Tiffany through SM. and just like always, she came up with a lame excuse that it was all on the scripts! If she didn’t get any job from now on .. just know why! poor script writer! The whole story was held off reporting by SM till after they were forced to make the formal apology! SNSD are “Sorry” for parodying Shinhwa’s Jun Jin
SNSD was forced to apologize in person to Shinhwa’s Jun Jin, who is busy promoting his first solo album.
On Melon’s DMB radio that aired May 14, SNSD disrespectfully labeled Jun Jin has ‘Justin Jinberlake’ (they probably thought they were so clever) and did a ridiculous imitation of Jun Jin’s power-punch dance to his title song “Wa”.
Afterward, the Shinhwa fans who watched this radio broadcast were furious, leaving remarks on message boards of Melon radio and SM Entertainment, saying “Isn’t it disrespectful to make fun of a senior singer?”
On May 22, SNSD made a formal, sincere apology in person to Jun Jin, who was waiting in his dressing room before his performance on Mnet M! Countdown.
Jun Jin’s management company, Open World Entertainment, revealed this incident on their homepage on May 22, asking for the fans’ understanding. (Wow, the power of SM – at least they delayed this news from reaching fans until SNSD got a chance to apologize).
According to Open World Entertainment, after reading the comments left by fans, a representative from Open World contacted SNSD’s manager at SM Entertainment, expressing his displeasure and requesting an apology. SM Entertainment’s representative explained that SNSD was only following the radio script and did not deliberately humiliate their senior singer, Jun Jin. Open World confirmed that SNSD met Jun Jin in his dressing room and made a formal apology.
SNSD left a message on Shinhwa’s site, saying that they were very apologetic and that they can’t ask for Shinhwa fans to love them, but to at least forgive them. In return, one fan replied, “ I hope you watch your mouth in the future. You [SNSD] still didn’t apologize for saying that Shin Hye Sung’s voice was like that of a goat. I hope this doesn’t occur again. Because SNSD apologized, I think I’ll be able to close my eyes just this once.” (By the way, Hye Sung’s much acclaimed vocals are amazingly sweet).
Soyboy: SNSD are a bunch of idiots. They are very lucky that this news didn’t spread very far and that only a few of Shinhwa’s fans new about this. They are a bunch of conceited, disrespectful garbage that don’t belong in the music industry. They probably don’t even know who they just made fun of. Shinhwa is a legendary idol group in the history of Korea. Their recent 9th anniversary album reached sales of over 96,000 copies in one month without any promotional activities. SNSD’s album sales don’t even come close to that. How dare they humiliate their seniors in the music industry.

As much as I know how U’re angry & irritated with Tiff’s actions (I don’t agree with her immature & wild “manner” either), plzz don’t say such things as “Hanging out with such a character .. who even asks her to not be phony!” Her friend (whether the news is true or not), as any other’s friends, would have affected her in some way or another; but to associate, or in my opinion, stereotype them like that is not considerate either.
Youngsters needs time & experience to grow up. Everyone has his/her foolish moments & acts disrespectfully when they’ve never experienced it themselves; thus, everyone has to learn their lessons eventually…

Well, you guys have to understand that she was born & raised in America and I, being a Korean-American myself live under different circumstances and standards.
I don’t even know how I landed on this blog site, but looking at it, what Tiffany did seems pretty normal for a girl who was born and raised in the states. If she were a singer over here in America she wouldn’t receive even a pint of the hate she’s getting now.

How can anyone be sure the myspace pages aren’t FAKE. type in a stars name in the myspace search and see how many pages comes up of that persona and read a few. It’s amazing how many posers there are saying I’m such and such from the group such and such. And their english is so good!!! it’s some fan girl posing as these people. So maybe that myspace comments are by fakes!!!!! I’m not a fan of Tiffany but everyone makes mistakes. It’s just because she’s a celebrity that she gets criticized for the things she does. And FYI that’s not their underwear under the skirts… they wear shorts under their skirts. Please get your facts straight.
I agree that some of the things she says is rude but she learned from it, you don’t see her saying those kind of things now… Yeah of course she messes up moves during dances but it’s happening less often and there are also boy groups that do the same thing. SNSD is popular because they are REAL in front of the camera. Not like some celebrities. I find some of the allegations above a little bit shallow but what really surprises me is about her criticizing Kim Ji Suk. She went overboard. Yeah, people make mistakes but what she have done is not a knee-jerk reaction from a conversation. She got plenty of time to think whether that’s the best time to display her eloquence in English language or not. Agree that she’s a normal person that is bound to err anytime, but it’s not about people making mistakes. I like Tiffany. And I watched the so said video, and It wasn’t that bad. Korean’s always go on shows and make fun of one another through imitations and whatnot. On the part where she corrected him. I don’t think it’s because she’s trying to be rude or pompous. My parents and my family don’t speak English very well and I’m used to correcting them all the time when I speak English with them. So when I go to another friends house sometimes I’ll correct their parents without thinking since I’m so used to doing it. It’s not me being malicious or trying to offend anyone, it can come out without thought. And it happens. She was raised in a country known for their rudeness too. Every culture thinks Amercian’s are loud and rude, that’s our stereotype. So no matter how long she lives in Korea, I’m sure she has to struggle with that as well.

To be honest, you don’t understand Tiffany at all, and that is the same with most other Anti-Tiffany people.
I would say she was brought up differently, her mum died when she was young, so all she had was her dad and her older siblings, therefore everyone probably tended to treat her nice because she was young. And right not it’s even more harder for Tiffany since her Grandad died.
Skirt being pulled up by Tiffany? Ever thought that possibly the skirt was too short or maybe like some people (example, myself) has a body shape which probably has like more fat or my skinny?
Her staying in a room with DBSK for a night? Yeah, first think about who spreaded the rumours before jumping to a conclusion. Spreading bad rumours are usually done by Anti-fans, just like yourself.
Her hitting her fellow members on the head is usually just a joke, if you look properly and most performances, there are usually one or another doing something funny to another member. SNSD members are all like a sister to each other, and just like any sort of sister, they would usually be playful around each other. Hey, once I saw Taeyeon lifting Yuri’s shirt a little, but as most would know, it was just a joke. I love Taeyeon, I love all SNSD members.
Correcting someone’s English. Hey some people do get really annoyed just like Tiffany when pronunciations are completely wrong or even the slightest wrong. I’m always having to correct most people in my school, although they are English and I am Chinese about there spelling mistakes, I teach my friends Chinese from time to time and I get really annoyed when they pronounce the Chinese words wrong. I even get annoyed at my little brother for being so stupid in general. I’m sure Tiffany is just like the type of person who kinds of gets annoyed by the slightest things that doesn’t seem right.
Mistakes in a dance are quite common, if you look at other people, such as Sunny or Yuri, who makes mistakes quite common, they aren’t bad. That was around the time Tiffany debuted, and during that time Tiffany was more concentrated on lyrics more than the dance. And as you said, ‘made by Korean Netizens’ just the word ‘Netizen’ already means that it’s more likely Anti-fans.
Plastic surgery? Some say it’s true others may say it’s not, I’m not really sure, because some said she admitted it, but looking at your pictures, she was in training for 3-4 years before debut, hey everyone changes, I look completely different to what I looked 4 years ago, I looked ugly and kind of skinny with a bad hairstyle 4 years ago, but not, most people likes my sort of hair, my body shape is normal, I wear glasses. I look more mature. And even if she did have plastic surgery, it’s more SM entertainment’s fault, because they care usually more about the looks then the actual talent. If you’re really talented they persuade you to get plastic surgery, so there you have it.
Yeah we know her name is Stephanie Hwang, but, hey, teenagers are like that, I’m a teenager, I would know. I’m always like swearing and things like that. It’s just common for a teenager.
So in the end, there is no point in hating someone, if you don’t even really know them. Try to know them better and common facts better before you even think about these sort of things

okay i don’t really follow SNSD so i don’t know how much of this is true, but i have a few disagreements. On the comment about her “purposely” messing up her groups’ dance, that’s totally unfair.
Every normal human being can mess up sometime in their life. And i’m pretty sure Tiffany isn’t the only person in the group who has messed up on stage. Every kpop group messes up! So whoever wrote that about her is retarded. (sorry if i sound mean, but that’s what i think.)
And on the issue on Tiffany’s “friend, Jessica Ho”, that comment she left on Tiffany’s myspace could easily be faked. Another reason why i find that comment hard to believe is that Chinese New Year is in the beginning/middle of february, not before jan. 29…
so either they celebrate chinese new year on a different day from all the other asians I know, or the person who faked the message has no idea what they’re talking about.
But that’s not even the point, why the hell is it Tiffany’s fault that she has a slutty, dumbass friend??
